Biography
Education
Curtis has participated in numerous workshops and trainings relating to the business, including, Tom Hopkins, Zig Zigler, Tony Robbins, Donald Trump, Stephen Covey, and more. He is widely read, spending at least two hours each day absorbing information on the latest ideas and trends in the real estate business, sales and self-improvement. He is currently working on completing his CCIM designation.
Background
Having managed, bought and sold many of his own income properties, Curtis understands the practical needs and goals shared by ACI clients. He has also been a successful renovator and condo converter, and thus knows how to sensibly guide his clients in positioning their properties for maximum value at resale. As a principal of the firm, Curtis helps to focus the business towards the demands of a changing market. He places great emphasis on state of the art management techniques and reliance on technology. Curtis is not only the youngest partner ever at ACI, he also attained this promotion in record time.

Along with his partner at ACI, Keith Courtney, $100 million of inventory has been bought and sold through their apartment brokerage efforts. In addition, Curtis has transacted in excess of $30 million with his own properties.
Business Philosophy
I strongly believe in the three C’s of business:
- Collaboration. If it means doing a better job for the client, I will gladly share the responsibility and the reward of projects I am working on. The only way that I can be successful is by attracting and raising up uniquely qualified talent to work as part of a team.
- Communication. Listening to and understanding the needs and goals of the individual owner/investor is essential. No matter what is happening on a deal, my first priority is to stay in touch and keep the client updated.
- Client service. As an apartment owner, I fully understand the needs and concerns of our clients. I treat my clients’ interests as my own, always going back to the question of what is best for their interests.
